The grand opening of FC Bayern Basketball’s SAP Garden on October 3rd will offer fans the chance to watch the stars of Real Madrid as the new EuroLeague season faces off.

FC Bayern Basketball said that as well as the highlight game there will be a large supporting program around the SAP Garden premiere including a surprise concert after the game.

SAP Garden is a new 11,500-seat indoor sports arena in Munich’s (Germany) Olympic Park. It’s being built on the site of the former Radstadion, which was demolished in 2015.

The arena will be the new home for the ice hockey team Red Bulls Munich and will also serve as the home venue for FC Bayern Basketball.

The second home game will be on October 17th against EuroCup winners Paris. Defending champions Panathinaikos will be in Munich the day after Christmas, the first German derby against Berlin will take place in the SAP Garden on November 14th.
