The Formula One is set to get one of its most unique new viewing points this year with the addition of a lifelike trackside yacht club.

‘THE SUN’ stated that the new addition will feature at the Miami Grand Prix in May in partnership with MSC Cruises who are looking to bring their hospitality experience to race day.

London (UK)-based Formula One (F1) is the highest class of worldwide racing for open-wheel, single-seater formula racing cars run by the Formula One Group and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

The Miami Grand Prix is a Formula One Grand Prix which was held for the first time during the 2022 season with the event taking place at the 270,000-capacity Miami International Autodrome which is located around the grounds and private facilities of the 65,326-capacity Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, a suburb of Miami.

The ‘yacht’ will stand at 264ft in length, have a width of 96ft and will be 50ft tall at its highest point.

The guests also have the option of heading to the ‘captain’s deck’ for panoramic views of the track, or booking themselves a private spot in one of nine exclusive cabanas.

The yacht club comes as the latest nautical addition to the glamorous race which has had a fake marina next to the track since its inaugural event at the 2022 edition.

The Miami GP President Katharina Nowak highlighted the marina area in a statement announcing the new yacht club and stating the new addition adds to the unique energy of the event.
