Bernabéu Stadium record revenue clink Real Madrid CF coffers

The LaLiga team Real Madrid CF (Spain) generated a record 1.221 billion euros (1.4 billion US dollars) in revenue during the last financial year, according to figures approved by the club’s Board of Directors recently.
 

Record Revenue

‘english.news.cn’ stated that the Real Madrid CF said the revenue rose 3.1 percent from the previous season adding that no other sports organization has surpassed that level of annual income.

The Real Madrid CF is a Spanish professional association football club based in Madrid (Spain). The club competes in LaLiga, the top tier of Spanish football.

The Bernabéu is a retractable roof football stadium in Madrid, Spain. With a seating capacity of 83,186 following its extensive renovation completed in late 2024 the stadium has the second-largest seating capacity for a football stadium in Spain behind the 1,05,000-seat Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona. The Bernabéu has been the home stadium of the Real Madrid CF since its completion in 1947.
 

Revenue Rise

‘english.news.cn’ further stated that the increase was driven primarily by an 11 percent rise in revenue from the Bernabéu Stadium and a six percent increase in marketing income boosted by sponsorship and commercial partnerships.
 

Pre-tax Profit

The Real Madrid CF posted a pre-tax profit of 26.3 million euros thus extending its run of annual profits to 26 consecutive years. The top-flight club also reported net assets of 624 million euros, cash reserves of 83 million euros and net debt of 9 million euros.
 

Bernabéu Investment

The debt figure does not include financing related to the redevelopment of the Bernabéu Stadium where the total investment has reached 1.407 billion euros.
