Charles Adkinson announced SVP Sport and Entertainment for PMY Group Image: Coliseum GSVA

The full-service technology solutions provider PMY Group (PMY) has announced the appointment of Charles Adkinson as the Senior Vice- President of Sport and Entertainment for the United States.

‘PMY’ stated that the above newly created role is in addition to his current position as the Principal, Client and Market Development for Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. (WJHW), PMY’s wholly-owned design firm.

Melbourne (Australia)-based the PMY Group (PMY) is a leading full-service technology solutions provider dedicated to enhancing the infrastructure, experience, operations, and intelligence of the venues and the major events globally.

Carrollton (US)-based Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. (WJHW) is a 55+ person firm offering consulting and state‐of‐the‐art design services in acoustics and noise control, audio, visual, video and scoring displays, broadcast provisions and video production, theater planning, architectural lightning, lighting and rigging, distributed TV and satellite, video surveillance and access control, and tel/data structured cabling.

‘PMY’ further stated that in this expanded role Adkinson will lead a team focused on supporting the current and the new clients in accessing a broader set of technology, intelligence and experience solutions designed to create value.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry Charles has successfully overseen the design of more than 500 venue technology projects.
