Arena Group has acquired Maestra, a leading build specialist for premium events, exhibitions and environments, with operations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Arena, which has itself just been acquired by Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding P.S.C, said the acquisition strengthens Arena’s presence in the Middle East, positioning the company to offer a broader range of turnkey solutions to its clients across a diverse array of projects.

Founded in 2014, Maestra has established itself as a premium fabrication partner, known for delivering world-class scenic builds for luxury brand experiences and large-scale live events.

With 150 full-time employees and 80,000 square feet of workshop space across the UAE and KSA, Maestra has earned a reputation for its expertise and innovative approach.

Tom Clements, Founder and CEO of Maestra, will continue to lead the company, ensuring continuity for Maestra’s clients and staff while benefiting from Arena Group’s global infrastructure and resources.

Maestra’s projects include major events like COP28 and Diriyah Bashayar 2024. Maestra will also continue to manage Arena’s Showblock operations in the region.

Clements said, “This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Maestra. With Arena’s global infrastructure capabilities, we can now offer our clients a broader range of integrated solutions while maintaining the exceptional client service for which we are known.”

Paul Berger, Arena Group CEO, added, “This acquisition is a strategic move that strengthens Arena Group’s position as a leading provider of comprehensive event solutions. Maestra’s expertise perfectly complements our existing capabilities, allowing us to offer clients an even more integrated service than ever before.

“We’re excited to welcome the Maestra team to the Arena Group family and look forward to collaborating to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients across the Middle East and beyond.”

This move further reinforces Arena Group’s commitment to expanding its event services across the Middle East and beyond, providing end-to-end solutions that encompass modular structures, scenic builds, and live event production.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding P.S.C last week announced it has bought temporary infrastructure and integrated event solutions specialists Arena Events Group.

Modon said it had entered into a definitive agreement with IHC and TasHeel Holding for the acquisition of Theta Bidco Limited, the 100% owner of Arena Events Group Limited.

It said the acquisition of Arena further strengthens Modon’s profile in the global events industry and significantly broadens its existing capabilities in the sector and its presence in the more than 10 countries that Arena operates in, including the US, UK and KSA.
