Arena Group to provide overlay infrastructure for Paris 2024 Image: Arena Group & Paris 2024

Arena, a global player in the events industry, has become an Official Temporary Infrastructure Supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

‘Arena Group’ stated that the Arena’s Overlay and Event Management Services Division will provide temporary infrastructure design and implementation services (‘overlay’) at at least 13 competition venues, including some of the most iconic venues of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, such as the 80,000-capacity Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France, Golf National (an 18-hole golf course in France, near Paris), the 6,000-capacity Centre Aquatique in Saint-Denis, France, Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, Stade Nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne in Vaires-sur-Marne, France, the 6,000-capacity Vélodrome National de Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, and the 6,000-capacity Arena Paris Nord in Seine-Saint-Denis, France.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, commonly known as Paris 2024, is an upcoming international multisport event that is scheduled to take place from July 26th to August 11th, 2024 with Paris as its main Host City and 16 Cities spread across metropolitan France and one in Tahiti – an island within the French overseas country and overseas collectivity of French Polynesia – as a subsite.

‘Arena Group’ further stated that the Arena will therefore contribute to Paris 2024’s commitment to organize Olympic and Paralympic Games based on 95 percent existing and temporary infrastructures.

As the Official Supporter, Arena will supply modular structures such as bungalows and containers, temporary stands, scaffolding, tents and interior fittings, etc.

The Arena provides state-of-the-art Overlay solutions to the world’s most iconic sporting and cultural events, and will draw on its 250 years of experience to deliver this extremely prestigious project to the specifications of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Organising Committee.

It is proud to support the environmental ambitions of Paris 2024, in particular by prioritizing the circular economy and innovative solutions. This means a commitment to a 100 percent ‘second life’ for infrastructure – with 90 percent of materials being reused in the future and the rest recycled.
