ASM Global, the world’s leading producer of live entertainment, and The Clorox Company, a global leader in cleaning and disinfection – as part of live entertainment’s dramatic ramp up – announced on May 19th an extensive collaboration of industry-leading advanced hygienics to enhance health and wellness in venues across the United States.

The ‘ASM Global’ stated that the multiyear partnership between the two global powerhouse brands will span ASM Global’s vast facility portfolio of arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers.

Los Angeles (US)-based ASM Global is the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences. It is the global leader in venue and event strategy and management – delivering locally tailored solutions and cutting-edge technologies to achieve maximum results for venue owners. The company’s elite venue network spans five continents, with a portfolio of more than 350 of the world’s most prestigious arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibition centers, and performing arts venues.

The Clorox Company is a leading multinational manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products with about 9,000 employees worldwide and fiscal year 2021 sales of $7.3 billion. Clorox markets some of the most trusted and recognized consumer brand names, including its namesake bleach and cleaning products. The company also markets industry-leading products and technologies for professional customers, including those sold under the CloroxPro™ and Clorox Healthcare® brand names. More than 80 percent of the company’s sales are generated from brands that hold the No. 1 or No. 2 market share positions in their categories.

The ‘ASM Global’ further stated that Clorox® becomes the Official Cleaning and Disinfecting Product Partner for ASM Global. Clorox products, including disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer and electrostatic sprayers will be used to help protect fans and guests. To honor COVID frontline responders and healthcare workers, Clorox will provide $1M in tickets to premier sports and entertainment events across the country.

Noted ASM Global President Ron Bension, “Since the very start of the COVID pandemic, our focus has been on reimagining the future of live events and preparing clean and safe venues for the return of our team members, athletes, fans, partners, and guests. Clorox’s industry-leading solutions allow us to continually enhance the quality of our event experiences, and we’re excited to partner with them in honoring the heroic workers that have supported all of us as we’ve navigated through the pandemic.”

The use of Clorox products further enhances ASM Global’s award-winning hygiene protocols initially launched two years ago in response to COVID-19. VenueShield®, ASM Global’s comprehensive and industry-leading program, provides industry-leading, advanced-hygienic safeguards to protect the live-event experience.

The protocols and procedures have been deployed across the portfolio worldwide including at more than 200 facilities across the United States, safeguarding consumer health, safety and confidence, in coordination with leading public health officials and best-in-class partners.

Stated Tad Kittredge, Vice-President and General Manager at Clorox, “Clorox is committed to supporting people’s health and well-being no matter whether they’re at home or out in the world, which is why we are incredibly excited to be working with ASM Global. It’s especially rewarding to extend our support to those who have been on the frontlines during the pandemic with the well-earned thanks they deserve.”

ASM Global and Clorox will officially launch their partnership at the 19,596-capacity Oakland Arena in Oakland, California, on June 1st, 2022, and, soon thereafter, in other ASM Global facilities in the United States with an eye toward expansion across a wider portfolio of worldwide venues.
