Expanding on a shared vision to deliver the most seamless and convenient service for live-event attendees, ASM Global (US), the world’s leading entertainment producer, and DoorDash, the local commerce platform, announced on May 31st a long-term partnership to deploy industry-leading mobile technology dining solutions to venues nationwide.

The ‘ASM Global’ stated that DoorDash will become ASM Global’s ‘On-Demand Delivery Platform’ partner, launching at ASM Global’s top North American arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers in the coming months. The partnership will elevate the fan experience by allowing fans to skip traditional lines by leveraging DoorDash services to order within the arena for pickup.

Los Angeles (US)-based ASM Global is the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences. It is the global leader in venue and event strategy and management – delivering locally tailored solutions and cutting-edge technologies to achieve maximum results for venue owners. The company’s elite venue network spans five continents, with a portfolio of more than 350 of the world’s most prestigious arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibition centers, and performing arts venues.

San Francisco (US)-based DoorDash is a technology company that connects consumers with their favorite businesses across the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. Founded in 2013, DoorDash enables local businesses to address consumers’ expectations of ease and immediacy and thrive in today’s convenience economy. By building the logistics infrastructure for local commerce, DoorDash is bringing communities closer, one doorstep at a time.

The ‘ASM Global’ further stated that the benefit will be offered at ASM Global US venues, which offer a wide array of content including concerts, sports, conventions, and family entertainment.

Said ASM Global Executive Vice-President (EVP) of SAVOR, ASM Global’s culinary division, Shaun Beard, “Our multiyear focus on redefining the guest experiences of the future has connected us with the industry’s most advanced technology and service providers. This new collaboration with DoorDash allows us to provide our in-venue event attendees with powerful, friction-free hospitality ordering solutions as well as creates greater efficiencies and new revenue opportunities for our ASM Global business partners in all the markets that we serve.”

ASM Global SAVOR venues will integrate DoorDash’s dynamic platform into their hospitality offerings, providing a uniform mobile food and beverage ordering experience for guests. For the first time across a venue portfolio, fans will be able to leverage the same convenience and opportunity they currently unlock outside the arena to pick up their most loved cravings while at their seats at their favorite concert, sporting event or business convention.

While on-site, fans/guests will be able to scan a QR code, download or open their DoorDash app to access the venue’s concession menus and premium experience options. This partnership is yet another example of ASM Global’s commitment and industry-leading efforts toward redefining and continuously enhancing the fan experience.

Exulted Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, Chief Marketing Officer at DoorDash, “We’re thrilled to partner with ASM Global to bring convenience on demand to fans so they can skip the lines and spend more time enjoying live viewing. At DoorDash we’re always looking for new ways to meet consumers’ ever-evolving needs, and we look forward to leveraging our platform to bring them a reliable experience at some of the most notable venues nationwide.”

ASM Global and DoorDash will officially launch their on-demand mobile technology network and on-site activations at the 11,089-capacity Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on June 11th.
