Cosm’s immersive technology with wall-to-wall screens is coming to the Gateway district in Cleveland (Ohio, US).

‘cleveland19.com’ stated that Cosm, Bedrock (a data capital management firm that offers governing, securing, integrating, and utilizing data resources and is based in Cleveland) and the Rock Entertainment Group (REG) made the announcement recently.

Los Angeles (US)-based Cosm is a global technology company that builds end-to-end solutions for immersive experiences. They provide a full stack experience solution including the physical design, engineering and manufacturing as well as the software, display engine and content needs to deliver immersive experiences at scale. Cosm’s technology enables people to experience entertainment in a new way across three primary markets: Sports and Entertainment, Science and Education and Parks and Attractions.

The Rock Entertainment Group is an American sports and entertainment holding company based in Cleveland, Ohio. The mission and focus for the Rock Entertainment Group is to optimize the position as world-class operators in sports and entertainment by developing a unified, branded platform for relentlessly creating amazing experiences for the fans, the teams, the partners, the stakeholders, and their thousands of staff members across the spectrum of properties.

‘cleveland19.com’ further stated that Cosm uses Shared Reality (a technology-driven immersive experience that blends the physical and virtual worlds to create a communal experience) to merge a stadium atmosphere to give the fans the “best seat in the house”.

Noted Nic Barlage, head honcho, Rock Entertainment Group, “Cleveland has long been recognized as a premier entertainment and Sport City with one of the most dedicated fan bases in the United States making it the ideal location for Cosm. This groundbreaking, innovative technology represents the future of live sports and attractions.”

The location for Cosm will be at the intersection of East 4th Street, Prospect Avenue and Huron Road.

Observed Justin Bibb, Mayor of Cleveland, “This is a major milestone for our downtown Gateway District and the arrival of Cosm is a testament to our community’s spirit and resilience. This incredible venue will enhance our City’s reputation as a hub for sports and entertainment drawing the visitors from near and far to experience a whole new level of immersive entertainment. With its engaging technology and diverse programming Cosm will not only elevate the visitor experience but also strengthen our local economy and community connections. We are proud to partner with Bedrock on this transformative project that reflects the vibrancy and passion of Cleveland.”

Cleveland will be Cosm’s fifth venue after locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, and Detroit.

The main screen will be 30 meters in diameter with a 12K+ Light Emitting Diode (LED) dome.

Maintained Jeb Terry, President-cum-Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Cosm, “We’re proud to bring Cosm to a City with such a strong sense of identity and passion. This venue will be more than just a destination, it will be a new way for the Clevelanders to come together and experience the moments that matter most, in Shared Reality. Located immediately across from the 19,432-capacity Rocket Arena the Cosm Cleveland will add to the energy of gameday and big events and activate Bedrock’s Rock Block development with live sports, experiential cinema and entertainment and cultural offerings year-round.”
