Events industry veteran Celler joins ASM ranks

Brian Celler joins ASM Global Image: ASM Global

ASM Global (US), the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences, venue management and event strategy, has appointed 25-year veteran Brian Celler, Senior Vice-President, Content and Programming, Europe.

‘ASM Global’ stated that in his new role, Celler will be responsible for ASM Global’s music, entertainment and sports content throughout its European and United Kingdom portfolio. This includes the 21,000-capacity AO Arena in Manchester (UK), the 15,000-capacity P&J Live in Aberdeen (Scotland), the 12,500-capacity OVO Arena Wembley in Wembley (UK), the 13,781-capacity First Direct Arena in Leeds (UK), the 50,000-capacity Friends Arena in Stockholm (Sweden), and the 13,000-capacity Rudolf Weber-Arena in Oberhausen (Germany).

Celler started his music industry career working globally with large-scale touring bands such as the American rock band Aerosmith, the Australian rock band AC/DC and the American heavy metal band Metallica. He later worked as an Artiste Manager with Q Prime and subsequently in artiste development and international marketing.

His work includes award-winning campaigns at Sony Music in New York (US) and London (UK) as well as at Universal Music Group in London where he served most recently as the Executive Vice- President and head of the U.K. international team. Celler also oversaw all operations including creative, marketing, touring, production, and content for the Irish rock band U2 during his eight-year tenure working as the Managing Director of Principle Management in Dublin (Ireland) and London (UK).
