FC Dallas will manage MoneyGram Soccer Park in a multi-year partnership with the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department, the club announced in its official website. Both the parties extended their agreement which will allow MoneyGram to continue serving as the naming rights partner of the 120-acre, 19-field soccer complex in northwest Dallas.

MoneyGram Soccer Park is one of north Texas’ finest athletic facilities,” said Jimmy Smith, Chief Operating Officer, FC Dallas. “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department and MoneyGram.” FC Dallas has managed the park since 2014 when it opened.

Moneygram Soccer Park generated an economic impact of more than $55 million, hosting around 66,000 players from across the world in tournaments like Dallas Cup, Premier SuperCopa and Premier Cup.

“Over the past five years, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department has had a great partner in FC Dallas, which has brought tournaments on a national and international level to Dallas,” said Willis Winters, Director of Dallas Park and Recreation Department. “Under FC Dallas’ management, the Elm Fork Athletic Complex has become a destination for teams in Texas and the nation. Furthering this partnership will bring continued benefits.”

“The MoneyGram Soccer Park has been a great addition to the Dallas community and we are so proud to support the facility and a sport that brings friends and family together. We are excited to continue our great partnerships with FC Dallas and the Dallas Park and Recreation Department for many years to come,” said Joann Chatfield, MoneyGram’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Connect Sports has named the complex one of the Best Soccer Fields in the U.S. this year. MoneyGram Soccer Park Field 8 earned the title of “Professional Soccer Field of the Year” from Sports Turf Managers Association in 2017.
