KOJO expands global footprint with EVENT360 integration Image: KOJO

EVENT360 (United Kingdom’s leading global specialist, sports presentation, entertainment, and fan engagement agency) and KOJO (an award-winning creative company specializing in sports, experiences and entertainment), two of the most recognized names in sports presentation, are uniting under the KOJO brand (a PMY company) to deliver unforgettable stadium ceremonies and premium gameday experiences to audiences around the globe.

‘KOJO’ stated that together the integrated agency boasts more than 50 years of industry expertise strengthened by extensive international networks that span sports, codes, the clubs, and the national associations.

Melbourne (Australia)-based the PMY Group is united by a commitment to technology, intelligence and experience and bring together decades of global expertise across a range of industries, all delivered locally. Each business contributes deep technical capability and sector-leading knowledge enabling the PMY to deliver end-to-end solutions across consulting and design, implementation and operations, software and data, and brand, creative and content services. This integrated model ensures the PMY Group deliver sophisticated, scalable outcomes that meet the evolving needs of the clients in an agile, flexible and modular manner.

‘KOJO’ further stated that the rebrand marks the next step following the PMY’s acquisition of EVENT360 in April and a successful Summer in which EVENT360 delivered sport presentation at major events including the Men’s and Women’s Football Association (FA) Cup Finals, The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Nations League Finals (an international European football competition played by the senior Men’s national teams of the member associations of UEFA) in Munich, Germany, SailGP (a global, high-speed sailing championship) in New York (US) and the 1888 Cup (international rugby match) in Dublin (Ireland).

London (UK)-based the Football Association is the governing body of association football in England and the Crown Dependencies of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Formed in 1863, it is the oldest football association in the world and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in its territory.

Nyon (Switzerland)-based the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is one of six continental bodies of governance in association football. It governs football, futsal and beach football in Europe and the transcontinental countries of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan as well as the West Asian countries of Cyprus, Armenia and Israel. The UEFA consists of 55 national association members. Since 2022, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the FIFA and UEFA suspended all Russian national teams and clubs from any FIFA and UEFA competitions.

EVENT360 Founder and Managing Director, Julian Marks, now the Group General Manager (GGM), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said he is excited for the next chapter under the KOJO brand, “I’m immensely proud of EVENT360’s achievements over the last 23 years and the unforgettable moments we’ve created for the fans. From landmark stadium celebrations across Europe including the Opening Ceremony of Wimbledon’s Centre Court (UK) and the EURO2020 Final staged at the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in London (UK) through to trophy presentations for the Premier League (the highest level of the English football league system) and the Six Nations Championship (an annual Northern-Hemisphere international rugby union tournament contested by the Men’s national teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales) it has been an incredible journey. It’s a testament to the amazing EVENT360 team who will continue delivering these experiences as part of KOJO.”

Stated Stephen Lord, KOJO Group head honcho, “Our combined networks and expertise make us a powerful player in the global sports and live events industry. KOJO’s award-winning digital and content design teams bring brands to life while our experienced events and production teams deliver some of the biggest sporting moments. Together with EVENT360’s outstanding track record and strong partnerships we can offer brands unrivaled opportunities to create dynamic, unforgettable fan experiences worldwide.”
