The Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (US) is creating a revolutionized concession stand experience that will lessen time spent waiting in lines and getting fans back to the action.

‘Mercedes-Benz Stadium’ stated that fans will soon have a new way to quickly grab their favorite drink or snack at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The 71,000-capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a multipurpose stadium located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Opened in August 2017 as a replacement for the Georgia Dome, it serves as the home stadium of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) and Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS).

‘Mercedes-Benz Stadium’ further stated that introducing ATL Market, a new checkout-free marketplace located on the 100 concourse between Sections 123-124, opposite the Absolut Bar.

The new ATL Market allows fans to tap/insert/swipe their card to enter the market, grab their food and beverage selection and simply exit – no checkout required!

The market will offer an assortment of water, soda, packaged alcohol, and snacks in addition to fan-favorite hot food items.

  • Fans can enter the market using any credit card, debit card or stadium cashless card;
  • Fans can shop in the market as they would in any other store, items are added to their ‘virtual cart’ as they pick them up while in the store;
  • As a fan walks out of the exit gate, their card is only charged for the items they have when leaving the store – items returned to shelf while still inside the market are removed from their final cart and not charged to the fan; and
  • If fans would like a receipt, they can enter their email at the kiosk inside the store (all digital, no print receipts).
