A special ceremony was held recently to celebrate the completion of the construction phase of the Nagasaki Stadium City in Nagasaki, Japan.

‘NAGASAKI STADIUM CITY’ stated that on the occasion various events were held in the indoor arena of the facility – the Happiness Arena – and AI, a popular Japanese-American artiste, sang the number ‘Happiness’ to the delight of the 1,5000 invited audience.

The Nagasaki Stadium City is all set to open on October 14th and a huge event has been planned.

The home shopping giant Japanet Holdings and its group company Regional Creation Nagasaki Company Limited were the main organizers of the above event.

The much-anticipated multifunctional stadium and arena complex also includes a hotel, commercial areas such as a shopping mall and office buildings.

Observed Akihito Takada, President and head honcho of Japanet Holdings Company Limited, “With the completion of the Nagasaki Stadium City, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone here for helping to create such a wonderful facility. The Japanet Group took up the challenging task of delivering this majestic building to the people of Nagasaki in particular, the people of Japan in general and the world. We will ensure that all the stakeholders involved in the project have a reason to be proud of the development.”

Stated singer AI, “The Nagasaki Stadium City is a masterpiece and the stadium view is amazing. I hope to be back here again to do a live show.”
 

Peace Stadium Connected by SoftBank

The 20,000-capacity Peace Stadium Connected by SoftBank is the core of the above mixed-use and is all set to go on stream on October 14th. It will be the home ground of the J. League football club V-Varen Nagasaki.
 

Immersive Experience

‘NAGASAKI STADIUM CITY’ further stated that equipped with approximately 20,000 seats it will serve as the home for the V-Varen Nagasaki. With a distance of 5m to the pitch, the fans will be able to feel the players up close and enjoy an immersive in-venue experience.
 

Open Space

A place for people to gather and let their hair down on non-matchdays too. Whether it’s chatting in the seats or children running around on the pitch, it offers a relaxed space where anyone can drop by and spend memorable moments.
 

‘Player Seats’

A wide variety of VIP seats are available, including the ‘Player Seats’ that will allow one to watch the game from the same angle as the players. It will provide varied spectator experiences.
 

Open Food Hall

The pitch is open to the public even on days when there are no matches. Have lunch sitting in the pitch area or get into a picnic mood and enjoy the Nagasaki breeze brushing against your faces!
 

Soothe Frayed Nerves

The brewery café provides a relaxing space where people can easily gather to cheer on the club with a beer in hand, toast with friends after work, or any other occasion.
