The National Hockey League (NHL) team Florida Panthers and their home ground – the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida (US) – announced on July 18th their new, interactive arena mobile application to enhance the experience at the FLA Live Arena for all games, concerts and events.

‘NHL’ stated that the Panthers official mobile app, powered and developed by YinzCam, gives fans the opportunity to toggle between Panthers and the FLA Live Arena modes to deliver content based on the event the patron is attending.

The Florida Panthers are a professional ice hockey team based in the Miami metropolitan area (US). They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference.

The 19,250-capacity FLA Live Arena is an indoor arena located next to the Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida (US). It is the home venue for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). It was completed in 1998 at a cost of US$185 million, almost entirely publicly-financed, and features 70 suites and 2,623 club seats.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US)-based YinzCam is an American software company that builds mobile applications, IPTV platforms and augmented reality (AR) experiences. It specializes in creating applications for professional sports organizations. Its founder is Priya Narasimhan.

‘NHL’ further stated that powered by YinzCam’s new Single Sign-On and the associated Segmentation/Personalization Engine, the mobile app is capable of dynamically tailoring content, utilities and push-notifications to fans by location, by time, by type of fan, and by fan preferences.

On the Panthers side, the mobile app features the latest team news, schedule, stats, and standings along with exclusive content like articles, podcasts, videos, photos, and more. The Panthers Territory Members can access their tickets, discounts and more.

Guest who toggles to the FLA Live Arena side of the app can manage tickets, utilize mobile ordering from concession stands, access special discounts, and personalized experiences.

The ‘Official Mobile Application of the Florida Panthers’ is available for both iOS and Android devices by downloading through the Google Play and App Store.

As the official ticketing partner of the Panthers, fans and guests intending to visit the FLA Live Arena should visit SeatGeek.com to create an account. Tickets to all FLA Live Arena events including hockey, concerts, shows, and more can be purchased at SeatGeek.com and via the Official Panthers Mobile app.
