The SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and Evolv Technology, the leader in artificial intelligence (AI)-based weapons detection security screening, entered into a multiyear partnership recently to bring safer, more accurate threat detection to the venues’ entries. As part of the agreement, Evolv was named the ‘Official Weapons Detection Screening Systems Provider’ for the state-of-the-art venues, which are located at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California (US), the 300-acre mixed-use development being built by the National Football League (NFL) team Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.

‘yahoo!’ stated that the SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater employ Evolv Express® systems, which use powerful sensor technology with artificial intelligence (AI) to provide threat detection at unprecedented volume and speed. Fans walk through the sensors without always having to stop, enjoying shortened lines and the ability to move right through each venue’s entries.

The SoFi Stadium is a 70,240-seat sports and entertainment indoor arena in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California, United States. The SoFi Stadium occupies the former site of the Hollywood Park Racetrack, three miles from the Los Angeles International Airport and immediately Southeast of the 17,505-capacity The Kia Forum.

The YouTube Theater is a 6,000-seat music and theater venue in Inglewood, California. Located under the same structure that houses the SoFi Stadium, it is part of the Hollywood Park entertainment complex, a master planned neighborhood in development on the site of the former Hollywood Park Racetrack.

‘yahoo!’ further stated that Evolv security scanners can be found at each entry of the SoFi Stadium, the home of the National Football League (NFL) team Los Angeles Chargers and reigning Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams, and also at the YouTube Theater, a 6,000-seat performance venue situated under the same roof canopy as the SoFi Stadium and the American Airlines Plaza. Evolv’s technology at both venues provides a seamless entry, allowing security to instantly differentiate between potential security concerns and everyday objects carried in pockets.
