The Betongparken, Stockholm Live’s Summer stage on the outside of the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, went on stream recently. A true Summer delight!

‘stockholm live.com’ stated that the inaugural show was of rock bands Takida & Stiftelsen with music buffs swaying to their catchy numbers.

The 40,000-capacity Stockholmsarenan, known as the Tele2 Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a retractable roof multipurpose stadium in Stockholm Globe City, Johanneshov, just South of the Stockholm City Centre, Sweden. The arena is able to host concerts, equestrian, motorsport, ice sports, banquettes, exhibitions, company events, and shareholders’ meetings, in addition to football.

Stiftelsen, meaning ‘the Foundation’, is a Swedish pop rock band that features the vocals of Robert Pettersson, the lead singer of the Swedish pop-rock band Takida. Pettersson wanted to do projects different from the staple of Takida music.

‘stockholm live.com’ further stated that the Takida & Stiftelsen act was followed by the Swedish hip hop group Hov1 taking to the stage.

The ambience was one of festival vibes, sunset and thousands of enthusiastic fans.

A ‘Linked Post By Stockholm Live AB’ stated that ingress to Betongparken is through the North side of the Tele2 Arena.

The ‘Linked Post By Stockholm Live AB’ further stated that the new open air-stage will be active between May-September. A fenced outdoor area on 5,700 sqm located between the two large entrance stairs on the South side of the Tele2 Arena, with a capacity to hold 5,000 visitors.

The Betongparken is now available for bookings and interesting parties are requested to mail to rasmus.fursater@stockholmlive.com

The Stockholm Live operate the Nordic region’s most visited arenas –the 16,000-capacity Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, Tele2 Arena, the 50,000-capacity Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden, Södra Teatern (fairground) in Stockholm, Kägelbanan (nightclub in Stockholm), and the 8,094-capacity Hovet in Stockholm. Every year, well over three million people visit the events the Stockholm Live host or activities they carry out. This makes them the absolute largest arena operator in the Nordics.
