Horodecki is the Esports and Sales Manager at Forum by Nowy Styl, Poland, and he looks at the topic of sustainability from a different prism and perspective as he puts in, “I will talk about Green Legacy which is all about protecting the environment.”

Adam Horodecki has been working in NowyStyl for nearly a decade. He is responsible for the company’s esports projects and achieving sales targets. His has extensive knowledge on sustainable development goals (SDGs).

He informed that presently Forum by Nowy Styl is working with the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany – “Our association with Eintracht Frankfurt goes back to over several years and this is one entity who understands the importance of sustainability in the real sense of the term and they know how to leverage our expertise in case of stadium seats and places huge importance to the sustainability factor.”

Ecodesign at Nowy Styl

Ecodesign is all about a wholistic approach to product, where environmental aspects are considered at every step of the product life cycle. Sometimes just one component can make final processing impossible, generating waste, which is why it is so important to consider ecodesign guidelines from the concept up to product disposal – “Ecodesign is totally different from the Circular Economy. And the challenge is that when you create products usually design and development goes first and selection of resourcing materials goes later. And herein lies the importance of Ecodesign.”
