The Truist Park in Georgia (US) is entering its eighth year of existence in 2024. It has served as the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Atlanta Braves home field since 2017, and provided a great lift to the team since its birth. The Braves have a record of 298-217 at home since the Truist Park opened in April 2017.

‘HTHB’ stated that now, the Truist Park will be experiencing its first big renovation since its opening. The Atlanta Braves announced on March 5th that they are investing an approximate $10 million into the first phase of a multiphase plan of upgrades to the Truist Park.

The 41,084-capacity Truist Park is a baseball stadium in the Atlanta metropolitan area, approximately 10 miles Northwest of downtown Atlanta in the unincorporated community of Cumberland, in Cobb County, Georgia (US). Opened in 2017, it is the ballpark of Major League Baseball’s (MLB’s) Atlanta Braves.

The Atlanta Braves are an American professional baseball team based in the Atlanta metropolitan area (US). The Braves compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League East Division. The Braves were founded in Boston, Massachusetts (US) in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings.

Happy Fans

‘HTHB’ further stated that the first phase of upgrades is set to be complete before the Braves home opener on April 5th. These upgrades include the ‘Jim Beam Bourbon Decks’ alongside Sections 142 and 143, a new ‘Blue Moon Beer Garden’ in the rooftop and finally an added 1,500 square ft. and doubled number of checkout points to the Braves Clubhouse Store in an attempt to enhance the flow of shoppers.

Informed Derek Schiller, Braves President and head honcho, “With these renovations, we will be protecting and reinforcing the elements that work well, while upgrading and innovating the ballpark to provide the unparalleled experience that the visitors have come to expect at the Truist Park.”

Exciting news for the Braves fans to know that their constant support and effort to make so many home games a sellout capacity crowd is being directly rewarded with high-profile upgrades. As previously mentioned, this is just Phase One of a multiphase plan, so more upgrades to Truist Park in the near future.

Any and all updates to future renovation plans at the Truist Park will be provided when they are made available. For now, 2024 seems to be an exciting year for the Braves fans to watch a talented team at one of the best home-field environments in all of sports. And for most fans, the home opener can’t get here fast enough!
