The ride-hailing services Uber and the Roig Arena in Valencia, Spain, have signed a collaboration agreement making the platform the Official Mobility Partner of the venue with the aim of improving access and exit experiences for the thousands of attendees who will visit the new space for concerts, shows and sporting events.

‘Roig ARENA’ stated that as part of the above partnership both entities will develop a comprehensive mobility plan to facilitate transportation and optimize access to and from the venue. The project includes the implementation of an exclusive pick-up point for the Uber users as well as the installation of customized signage throughout the venue to guide attendees to the designated meeting point.

Uber is an American multinational transportation company that provides ride-hailing services, courier services, food delivery, and freight transport. It is headquartered in San Francisco, California (US) and operates in approximately 70 countries and 15,000 Cities worldwide.

The 20,000-capacity Roig Arena, previously proposed as Casal España Arena or Valencia Arena, is a multipurpose indoor arena in Valencia, Spain, which opened in September 2025.

‘Roig ARENA’ further stated that additionally, Uber will have a presence on the indoor and outdoor screens of the Roig Arena and will launch a promotional code offering a 50 percent discount for the new users traveling to the venue via the app encouraging the use of safe and sustainable mobility solutions.

Observed Víctor Sendra, General Manager, Roig Arena, “This partnership with Uber, a leading global mobility platform, will allow us to make it easier for the Roig Arena attendees to get around offering an alternative to the private vehicles.”

Added Felipe Fernández Aramburu, General Manager of Uber in Spain and Portugal, “With this collaboration we reinforce our commitment to Valencia, a key City for Uber in Spain. We want the mobility experience for those attending concerts or matches at the Roig Arena to be as comfortable and efficient as possible so that the users can focus on what really matters: Enjoying the show.”

This agreement strengthens Uber’s commitment to integrating into Valencia’s mobility ecosystem offering solutions tailored to the needs of the City, its residents and the millions of tourists who visit each year.
