The first regular-season National Football League (NFL) game in Germany will be between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks at the home of the Bundesliga giant FC Bayern Munich – the Allianz Arena in Munich.

The ‘abc News’ stated that the game will take place at the Allianz Arena on November 13th, 2022.

The above piece of information was given by the NFL on May 4th. Frankfurt will also be staging a regular-season game in Germany during the next four years.

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida (US). The Buccaneers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference South division.

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team based in Seattle, US. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference West, which they joined in 2002. The club entered the NFL as an expansion team in 1976.

The Allianz Arena is a football stadium in Munich, Bavaria, Germany with a 70,000 seating capacity for international matches and 75,000 for domestic matches. Widely known for its exterior of inflated ETFE plastic panels, it is the first stadium in the world with a full color changing exterior.

The ‘abc News’ further stated that Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady could become the first quarterback to start a game in three foreign countries. He won two games with the New England Patriots in London (UK) and another in Mexico City, capital of Mexico.

The schedule for the three NFL games in London next season was also announced, with the Green Bay Packers becoming the final team to play in Europe.

The Packers will take on the New York Giants on October 9th at the home of the Premier League soccer team Tottenham Hotspur F.C., a week after the Minnesota Vikings play the New Orleans Saints at the same stadium – the 62,850-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (UK).

On October 30th, the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London (UK) will host the Denver Broncos against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who played games there for seven straight seasons until 2019 before playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year.

The final international game will be between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals on November 21st in Mexico City.
