Caesars Entertainment, Inc. – in partnership with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA’s) Cleveland Cavaliers – celebrated the ceremonial grand opening of Caesars Sportsbook at their residence -the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio (US). The new, 10,355-square-foot sportsbook accepted its first legal sports wagers on January 1^st, 2023.

‘Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse’ stated that the January 2^nd ceremonial grand opening marked the first time the sportsbook was operational during a Cavs home game. The event featured remarks from Caesars and Cavs representatives, appearances by Cavs Legends, a ceremonial first bet, and a combined donation of $40,000 from Caesars Sportsbook and the Cavaliers to Seeds of Literacy, a nonprofit organization that provides free General Educational Development (GED®) and High School Equivalency Test (HiSET®) preparation and basic education to adults in the Cleveland area.

The 19,432-capacity Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is a multipurpose arena in Cleveland, Ohio, US. The building is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL). It also serves as a secondary arena for Cleveland State Vikings men’s and women’s basketball.

Caesars Entertainment, Inc., formerly Eldorado Resorts, Inc., is an American hotel and casino entertainment company founded and based in Reno, Nevada (US) that operates more than 50 properties. The Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs, formerly known as Scioto Downs Racino, is a horse racing track and casino in Columbus, Ohio, owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. The track has operated since 1959, and became Ohio’s first racino with the addition of video lottery terminals (VLTs) on June 1st, 2012.

Eligible sports fans are welcome to visit the sportsbook year-round, which is now open on both event and non-event days Monday through Thursday from 10 am to midnight, Friday from 10 am to 1 am., Saturday from 9 am to 1 am, and Sunday from 9 am to midnight.
