The Santander Arena in Santiago (Chile) officially debuted its new name recently marking the beginning of a new naming rights partnership between the venue and Banco Santander (the largest bank in Chile by loans and deposits).

The venue will bring people together through music, culture and live events.

Live Entertainment Landscape

‘LIVE NATION NEWSROOM’ stated that for nearly two decades the venue has been at the center of Chile’s live entertainment landscape. The No. 1 ranked venue in Latin America it welcomed more than 1.8 million fans in 2025 and continues to host the leading artistes from Chile (country in South America) and around the world.

The Santander Arena, previously known as the Movistar Arena, is a 15,500-seat multipurpose indoor arena in Santiago, Chile.

New Chapter

‘LIVE NATION NEWSROOM’ further stated that with the above launch, which included the unveiling of the new logo, Santander officially becomes the venue’s lead sponsor after acquiring the naming rights. The venue that has hosted Chile’s most important concerts and events officially becomes the Santander Arena marking the start of a new chapter in its history.

Official Debut

The new name made its official debut on September 6th during a launch event at the Santander Arena. The public officials, artistes and the special guests gathered to celebrate the venue’s history and look ahead to its future. The evening also featured performances by the Orquesta Solístico of Santiago (a nonprofit Chilean chamber orchestra) conducted by Paolo Bortolameolli and DJ Russell who kicked off the celebration.
