Iain Campbell joins Oak View Group Image: Coliseum GSVA

Iain Campbell has started a new role as the Executive Vice-President in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at the Oak View Group (OVG).

Campbell joins the OVG from the leading venue management company ASM Global, where he served as a Group Director of Venue Operation Services and as the Executive Vice-President in the Middle East. Prior to joining the ASM Global, Campbell was the Director of Building Services at the International Convention Centre Sydney in Sydney, Australia.

The Oak View Group (OVG) is a Denver-based American company that manages the commercial and professional sports venues. The OVG provides global advisory, development and investment services for the live entertainment and sports industries. The company manages and advises the existing venues on topics like concert booking, sponsorship and security. The OVG also offers arena and stadium alliance, partnerships, venture capital, and global facilities.

Los Angeles (US)-based ASM Global is a company that manages venues and events, and is the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences. They have a network of more than 350 venues across five continents, including arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibition centers, and performing arts venues. The ASM Global also offers venue naming rights and branded experiential spaces.

The 8,000-capacity International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is an exhibition and convention center in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia. It opened in December 2016 and has over 70 meeting rooms, three theaters and two formal ballrooms. The venue has a total exhibition capacity of 35,000 square meters, including 2,600 square meters of multipurpose space. It also has an open-air event deck of 5,000 square meters, which includes a bar and lounge with City views.

He is also an adept people manager, who excels in managing human and physical resources.

The top gun is armed with 35 years of experience in Venue Management, Sports and Leisure and Hospitality. He enjoys 15 years of work experience in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai).
