The SM Prime Holdings Inc., the integrated property development arm of the SM Group, has marked the next phase in the development of its South Road Properties (SRP) estate with the launch of the SM Seaside Cebu Arena in Cebu City, Philippines, which opened its doors on July 11th, 2026.

‘philstar GLOBAL’ stated that the P7-billion SM Seaside Cebu Arena spans more than seven hectares of gross floor area and can accommodate up to 25,000 guests.

Pasay (Philippines)-based the SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SMPH) is one of the largest integrated property developers in Southeast Asia that offers innovative and sustainable lifestyle cities with the development of malls, residences, offices, hotels, and convention centers. It is also the largest, in terms of asset, in the Philippines.

The South Road Properties (SRP) in the Philippines is a massive 300-hectare (740-acre) Municipal reclaimed land development located along the Southern Coast of Cebu City.

The 16,000-seat SM Seaside Cebu Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena in South Road Properties, Cebu City, Philippines. It is the largest indoor arena in Cebu.

‘philstar GLOBAL’ further stated that the SM Prime President Jeffrey Lim said the SM Seaside Cebu Arena is part of the company’s long-term vision for Cebu which has long been one of Philippine’s most dynamic markets.
