Red Bull to energize Las Vegas F1 track action

Red Bull announced as presenting partner for Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix Image: F1 Las Vegas GP

Formula 1® is set to dominate the sports and entertainment capital of the world with the inaugural Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix (US) to be held from November 16th-18th, 2023.

‘F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix’ stated that the race will be propelled by a new multiyear partnership with Red Bull. The official energy drink of the Grand Prix™ will introduce a new layer of trackside activations, including custom hospitality options and multiple consumer experiences, to help grow fandom in the sport.

London (UK)-based Formula One is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The FIA Formula One World Championship has been one of the premier forms of racing around the world since its inaugural season in 1950.

Paris (France)-based the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) is an association established on June 20th, 1904 to represent the interests of motoring organizations and motor car users. It is the governing body for many auto racing events, including Formula One. The FIA also promotes road safety around the world.

Red Bull is a brand of energy drinks created and owned by the Austrian company Red Bull GmbH. With a market share of 43 percent, it is the most popular energy drink brand as of 2020, and the third most valuable soft drink brand behind Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

Red Bull® Energy Drink is available in over 172 countries worldwide and more than 9.8 billion cans of Red Bull were consumed last year, more than three billion of those in the United States alone. Red Bull Energy Drink’s signature 8.4 fl. oz. contains 80 mg of caffeine, about the same amount as in a home-brewed cup of coffee.

Formula 1® and Liberty Media Corporation are working together to promote the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The inaugural race weekend is set for November 16th-18th, 2023. Taking place at night against the iconic Las Vegas backdrop, the track will see drivers reach jaw-dropping speeds of over 210 mph (340 kph) as they race around some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, hotels and casinos on the legendary Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, US.

The company has three divisions, reflecting the company’s ownership stakes in Formula One, SiriusXM (American broadcasting corporation) and the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Atlanta Braves.

Las Vegas (US)-based the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority are a Government agency and the official destination marketing organization for Southern Nevada. It was founded by the Nevada Legislature in 1955.

Viva Las Vegas – so, where’s the party? First stop – the Red Bull Energy Station, a 20,000-square-foot, Las Vegas-themed trackside hospitality center that promises premium viewing, entertainment and gourmet cuisine throughout the race weekend. Located in the South Koval Zone with prime views of Turn Three, partygoers and race fans in attendance will be immersed in a trackside paradise to get up close and personal to the action, the fun and the teams: The Oracle Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri.

Red Bull Racing, currently competing as Oracle Red Bull Racing and also known simply as Red Bull or RBR, is a Formula One racing team, racing under an Austrian license and based in the United Kingdom. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by the conglomerate Red Bull GmbH, the other being Scuderia AlphaTauri.

Scuderia AlphaTauri, or simply AlphaTauri, is an Italian Formula One racing team and constructor. It is one of two Formula One constructors owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, the other being Red Bull Racing.

‘F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix’ further stated that across from the Red Bull Energy Station located in the East Harmon Zone will be the Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Grandstand and the Red Bull Fan Zone. These dedicated hotspots lie adjacent to each other and promise incredible views from the grandstand and limited-edition merchandise as well as interactive elements such as racing simulators, virtual reality (VR) experiences and pit stop challenges in the fan zone.

In typical Las Vegas fashion, Red Bull’s signature Energy Station and Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Grandstand will be taken to the next level with exclusive offerings, entertainment and activations that will only be available at the Las Vegas race.”

Tickets for the fan experiences are on sale now and can be purchased at https://win.gs/RedBullLVGP. Each ticket allows three-day entry to Red Bull (Energy Station, Grandstand or Fan Zone) and promises unparalleled excitement to match the action on the track.
 

Red Bull Energy Station:

Tickets provide admission to the race for three days and first-hand access to live musical performances, exclusive driver appearances, virtual reality experiences, gaming consoles, and much more.
 

Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Grandstand:

Tickets provide admission to the race for three days with premium views of the racetrack, as well as access to the Red Bull Fan Zone and exclusive limited-edition merchandise bundles. Max Verstappen (Dutch-Belgian motorsports racing driver) fans can also purchase special ‘Orange Army’ tickets that will allow them to sit alongside their fellow orange-clad fans and cheer on the Dutch reigning champion.

The Saturday night race spans just over 3.8 miles long and weaves through iconic Las Vegas destinations with 17 turns and three straights. The back straight along The Strip is over a mile long with top speeds estimated to be over 212 mph, making it one of the fastest tracks on the calendar.

Since entering Formula 1 in 2004, the Oracle Red Bull Racing has achieved five Constructor’s Championship titles and six Driver’s titles. Most recently, the team claimed the 2022 Formula 1 Constructor’s Championship and celebrated 2021 and 2022 Driver’s World Championship titles with Max Verstappen. Verstappen earned a record-setting 15 race wins, with teammate Sergio Pérez (Mexican motorsports racing driver) earning two in the 2022 campaign.
