The Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart sets new hospitality benchmark with the Porsche Tunnel Club.

A ‘LinkedIn Post By Roman Dubov, Execution-Driven Management Professional in Sports Industry’ stated that it is an unbelievable season for VfB Stuttgart both on and off the pitch!

The VfB Stuttgart is a German professional sports club based in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The club’s football team is currently part of Germany’s first division, the Bundesliga.

The 60,058-capacity MHPArena is a stadium located in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and home to the Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. It hosted football matches in the 1974 FIFA World Cup™, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) EURO 1988 and the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.

Located in the heart of the new main stand, the Porsche Tunnel Club offers 200 visitors an exclusive 360-degree view of the player tunnel and the mixed zone. Through the one-way glass, the visitors can observe both the teams come out of their respective cabins, walk onto the pitch and speak to the media after the game.

The concept in its entirety isn’t new, but its conventionalization makes it truly unique. Indeed, many sports teams in North America offer the VIP visitors exclusive access to the player tunnels. But the Porsche Tunnel Club stands out as it offers a 360-degree view, and the LED lights inside the player tunnels make it possible to produce high-end visual elements that are unique to the MHPArena.

The ‘LinkedIn Post By Roman Dubov, Execution-Driven Management Professional in Sports Industry’ further stated, “On the field, Stuttgart broke records with 73 points in the Bundesliga, securing a stunning second place to finish ahead of the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.”

“Off the field, the club transformed their home, the MHPArena, into a state-of-the-art venue with a €139.5 million renovation, featuring the unique Porsche Tunnel Club.”

“The Porsche Tunnel Club offers a 360-degree view of the player tunnel and mixed zone through one-way glass, providing 200 visitors an unparalleled experience. Witness the players emerge backed by dynamic light-emitting diode (LED) displays, while enjoying top-notch cuisine by the top caterer Michael Wilhelmer and ‘Cannstatt kocht by Aramark’.”

Remarked Rouven Kasper, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, VfB Stuttgart, “We set a new benchmark with this unique hospitality concept. It gives us more flexibility in marketing. The renovation means having 8,000 square meters more area and 800 more business seats. We have been sold out from Day One, so we are already at a stage where we might have to consider further expansion.”

“With 4,000 VIP seats, Stuttgart now boasts the second-largest VIP area in the Bundesliga, right behind Bayern Munich’s 75,024-capacity Allianz Arena.”

Stuttgart’s return to the Champions League for the first time since 2010 amplifies the club’s international presence and appeal to the global business partners.”

Added Kasper, “It’s a new VfB. And with partners like Porsche, the future looks bright for one of Germany’s most historic clubs.”
