American professional baseball team Texas Rangers have hired Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment to promote selling of premium seats as well as founding partners for Globe Life Field in Arlington which is the team’s new $1.1 billion stadium opening in 2020 according to a news report by venues now. In Arlington, Van Wagner will help in selling 80 suites and 3,000 club seats at the Rangers’ new retractable roof ballpark.

Chris Allphin, Senior Vice-President of team and venue services, Van Wagner, said, “The key is we’re bringing our entire suite of revenue-focused consultation to the Rangers – premium planning and sales, founding partners and physical design.”

As the Rangers prepare to open a 7,000 square feet preview centre behind the right-field stands at Globe Life Park, Evan Gitomer, Vice-President of premium ticketing is already at Arlington working closely with them. The centre which is expected to open in early October, was formerly a pre-game hospitality and corporate meetings venue on non-match days, according to Joe Januszewski, team’s executive vice-president and chief revenue and marketing officer.

The new Globe Life Field’s selling point will be the 13 Home Plate Field Suites, situated at field level with seven to nine seats, which will be forty feet from the catcher, shortest distance for premium seats behind home plate in MLB, told Januszewski. On the upper suite level will be sixty-seven suites on long-term and nightly rental basis, which are the same distance from the field as the lower suite level at Global Life Park.

The Rangers are still working on the suite prices before getting in touch with their customers. The premium seats at Globe Life Field will be priced as an all-inclusive component said Januszewski.

There will also be a four-top table product including a total of 320 seats which are situated between the bases and centre field above the batter’s eye and five premium lounges at Globe Life Field.
