New partner for Allianz Stadium in Australia Image: Allianz Stadium

Venues NSW are pleased to announce that The Lottery Office (https://www.lotteryoffice.com.au/) has come on board as a new commercial partner of the Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground (Australia).

‘Allianz Stadium’ stated that the three-year partnership will see The Lottery Office become the official Lottery Partner of Sydney’s famous sporting and entertainment precinct.

The Venues NSW is an agency of the Government of New South Wales that owns and operates several sporting facilities across New South Wales, Australia.

The Lottery Office is an Australian online lottery operator licensed by the Government of the Northern Territory and allows Australians and New Zealanders to play to win from the draws of the largest lotteries in the world, including US Powerball and Mega Millions.

The new state-of-the-art 42,500-capacity Allianz Stadium is located in Sydney’s Moore Park and hosted its first event on September 2nd, 2022. Built on the site of the old Sydney Football Stadium which was demolished in 2019, the project builds on the legacy of the Sydney Sports Ground (1899) and the original Sydney Football Stadium, opened as a Bicentennial Project in 1988.

The 48,000-capacity Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a sports stadium in Sydney, Australia. It is used for Test, One Day International and Twenty20 cricket, as well as, Australian Rules football and occasionally for rugby league, rugby union and association football.

‘Allianz Stadium’ further stated that the parent company Global Players Network Pty Limited, an Australian-owned and -operated company for over 20 years, launched The Lottery Office in 2018 to allow Australians the chance to win from all major international lottery jackpots, including the USA Mega Lotto, USA Power Lotto, European Millions, UK Lotto, plus much more.

A percentage of each ticket sale is used by The Lottery Office to support various State-based charities and community groups with their most recent donations supporting the Lifeline Direct suicide prevention phone line in the Hunter Region and Careflight NT.

The Lottery Office head honcho Jaclyn Wood said that they’re excited to join the SCG precinct – “Partnering with the Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground is a milestone in our business strategy. One of the goals we set for The Lottery Office for 2023 was to get out and about and meet our customers and the general public, to speak with them about The Lottery Office, our history and our huge jackpots! Being present at the Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground allows us to be face-to-face with our Sydney customers and we felt this was the perfect next step in The Lottery Office’s journey.”

As part of the partnership, attendees and members of the precinct will receive exclusive offers on lottery tickets to major international jackpots, while fans will be able to enjoy new matchday activations.

Added Matt Hart, Venues NSW General Manager (Commercial), “We’re pleased to welcome The Lottery Office to Venues NSW as the official Lottery Partner of Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground. We look forward to working with The Lottery Office to continue to deliver extraordinary experiences for the millions of fans and members who visit the Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground each year.”
