Wisła Kraków-Wieczysta Kraków make up over Synerise Arena Kraków

The Polish professional football clubs Wisła Kraków and Wieczysta Kraków have reached an agreement to play their home matches at the Synerise Arena Kraków in Kraków, Poland.

‘goal.pl’ stated that both the top-tier teams will share the Synerise Arena Kraków.

Stadium Saga

All indications point to the Wisła Kraków and the Wieczysta Kraków stadium feud saga coming to an end and the latter is finally playing its home matches at the Synerise Arena Kraków for the 2026-2027 seasons, the home venue of the former. A protracted dispute was going on over Wieczysta Kraków sharing the home ground of Wisła Kraków.

‘goal.pl’ further stated that the clubs have arrived at an agreement. A letter of intent has been signed and the contract is expected to be inked by June 25^th, 2026.

The Wieczysta Kraków is a Polish football club based in Kraków, Poland. As of the 2026-2027 seasons they compete in the Ekstraklasa, the highest level of the Polish football league system.

The 33,326-seat Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the Synerise Arena-Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana or the Synerise Arena Kraków for short, is a football-specific stadium in Kraków, Poland.

Wisła Kraków Statement

Wisła Kraków released an official statement which read, “The Wisła Kraków team will be responsible for the management, maintenance and ongoing care of the pitch. The Wisła Kraków will not be the match operator. However, the Wieczysta Kraków and its partners will provide the resources and equipment necessary to prepare the facility for the Ekstraklasa games including support for greenkeeping, specialized equipment and pitch lighting. The parties have declared their cooperation in good faith in discussions with the Municipality of Kraków as the Owner of the facility.”

The representatives of both the clubs also commented on the matter. Jarosław Królewski (Owner of Wisła Kraków) suggested that the above development will possibly lead to both the teams cooperating. He also reassured as regards the “cannibalization of the fan base” and the risk of losing some potential fans to the Wieczysta Kraków.

The cannibalization of a fan base happens when a brand, creator, or franchise introduces a new product or platform that diverts attention, engagement, or revenue away from their existing offerings. Instead of expanding the total audience it simply splits or shifts the existing supporters.
