Fulham-Oracle Cloud dining delight for fans

The Premier League team Fulham F.C. has recruited the cloud computing service Oracle Cloud as its official point of sale (POS) and payments provider. In time for the upcoming season, the club will outfit their home ground – the Craven Cottage in Fulham (England, UK) – and the restaurants at its new riverside London entertainment destination, Fulham Pier – with the Oracle Simphony Cloud POS and Payments Cloud Service.

‘ORACLE’ stated that in addition to delivering a better payment experience to the visitors the modern tech stack will provide the club and the Fulham Pier with real-time data-driven insights to plan more efficiently and cater to the unique needs of its year-round visitors, be they the football fans, the casual diners, or gig and event-goers.

The Craven Cottage is a football stadium in Fulham, West London, England (UK) which has been the home of the Fulham F.C. since 1896. The ground’s capacity stands at 29,589.

The Oracle Cloud is a cloud computing service offered by the Oracle Corporation providing servers, storage, network, applications, and services through a global network of Oracle Corporation-managed data centers. The company allows these services to be provisioned on demand over the Internet.

The Oracle Corporation is an American multinational computer technology company headquartered in Austin, Texas (US). Co-founded in 1977 in Santa Clara, California, by Larry Ellison who remains the Executive Chairman the Oracle Corporation is the fourth-largest software company in the world by market capitalization as of 2025.

The Oracle Simphony Cloud POS is a comprehensive, cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) and restaurant management system designed for the hospitality industry. It provides a platform for managing various aspects of the restaurant operations including front-of-house, back-office and kitchen functions with a focus on boosting the revenue, improving efficiency and enhancing the guest experience.

The Oracle Payments Cloud Service is a suite of cloud-based payment solutions designed to streamline and optimize the various payment processes for the businesses across different industries.

Kicking Off a New Era in Hospitality

The Oracle Restaurant solutions will deliver flexible configurations and contactless payments to meet the needs of each venue, from grab-and-go stadium concessions to handheld devices that enable the servers at the Pier’s upscale restaurants to deliver amazing table-side service. The Fulham FC will also use the Oracle Workstation 8 (a point-of-sale [POS] hardware solution designed for the restaurant and the retail industries and the Kitchen Display Systems (digital solutions designed to replace the traditional paper tickets and improve communication and efficiency in the restaurant kitchens) to help control the costs, limit the waste and fulfill the orders from all the channels efficiently. In tandem, Simphony’s built-in analytics will enable the club to better understand the dining patterns, the fan favorites and the inventory trends. It will enable the club to adjust as needed to reduce the waste, the cost and consider the elements such as the real-time promotions that can move the product while delighting the guests.
