State Farm Arena unveils ‘ultra-premium’ Concert Club
Atlanta Hawks-operated State Farm Arena launched its new Concert Club – an ultra-premium space for fans and music lovers – with a sold-out Michelle Obama book tour event on May 11.
Prior to the inaugural event, an exclusive media preview of the Concert Club was by State Farm Arena CEO Steve Koonin. The premium space has 268 seats including 50 front row and 138 concert loge seats and 80 theatre table seats. This new premium area features two private bars and two chef tables.
Located on the north side of building opposite the concert stage, the Concert Club boasts a private entrance, private elevator, front row parking, 50 front row seats and a private party deck that can hold 47. It has in-seat wait service and a complimentary exclusive chef Joe Schafer-inspired food menu, beverage with featured mixologist, and top-shelf products.
The Club has been designed for the upscale fan who will attend music concerts and sporting events including Atlanta Hawks games. You actually purchase a table in this area rather than an individual seat. The goal is for you to enjoy the concert or game with friends or clients.
It is the eighth and final premium space to debut at the renovated and renamed (formerly Phillips Arena) arena.
“I’m really pleased that we are unveiling the last piece of the renovation puzzle that we brought to life. The Concert Club is a one of a kind environment that is built to enjoy Hawks games, the music that comes to Atlanta as well as all of the different shows. What is unique about this is that you have your own parking, you have all you can eat and all you can drink in this beautiful facility, your seat is a table where you can hang out with your friends, your clients and enjoy the festivities happening on the court,” said Koonin.
“I’m really pleased that we are kind of closing the chapter of renovating the building. We’ve gotten so many positive accolades. The Sports Business Journal named us one of the top five buildings in America. That’s come a long ways since this building opened 20 years ago. We want this building to reflect our city- it’s hip, it’s cool it’s got something for everybody. We feel this place is a real winner.”
The club’s centerpiece is a custom chandelier, made of acrylic tubes and a sculptural pewter frame hanging above the beautiful granite on the main feature bar. Designed by ai3 Inc., a multi-disciplinary design studio known for its diverse designs in the hospitality, restaurant and sports industries.
State Farm Arena recently got a nearly $200 million renovation, adding new technology such as the NBA’s first continuous 360-degree video screen.
